Paul & Leanne {WEDDING}
29th November 2008

The hum of the guests gathering for the ceremony grew louder... the flower girls waited anxiously, but with excitement asking “is it time yet?” ... the bride began to settle her nerves as the music in the distance hinted for her arrival.
The flower girls walked down the path hand-in-hand... followed closely by the bridal party... and then without hesitation, Leanne, accompanied by her mother, began her walk toward her groom.
Paul & Leanne chose the beautiful Ravenswood Homestead for their wedding. They held both the ceremony & reception there, which was magnificent.
As the guests relaxed around the gardens after the ceremony, we chose the beautiful surroundings of the Homestead to capture some shots of Paul & Leanne.

Paul & Leanne – Thank You for allowing me to capture every part of your special day!

Alan & Amber {WEDDING}
22nd November 2008

The day unfolded with the rolling of dark grey clouds lining the sky from edge to edge. Every once in a while a glimpse of blue sky would appear giving us hope the rain in the storm clouds would not bother us too much.  As the bride arrived in an old vintage Jag and travelled up the long dirt track, the rain made itself known, with the slight hint of a little hail. But this didn’t bother the beautiful bride, as she so elegantly hurried in from the rain, under the protection of an umbrella held by her father.

The ceremony brought you back to the tradition of marriage, as everyone huddled closely together in the small, but cute little church in Sutton Grange.
Alan & Amber weren’t put off by the rain and fresh winds, as they knew the focus of this day was their marriage and the start of their new lives together! This determination to venture outside made for some fantastic photo opportunities along the dusty tracks and old trees.

Alan & Amber – Thank You for letting us share in your beautiful day! We wish you all the best in your future!

Chris & Siobhan {WEDDING}
16th November 2008

 ...To you, I'll give the world
To you, I'll never be cold
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you
It's alright, I know it's right

And the songbirds are singing,
Like they know the score
And I love you, I love you, I love you
Like never before...

Just some of the beautiful words from ‘songbird’. Chris & Siobhan were married on Sunday and based their extraordinary wedding and theme around these words. Especially ‘Like Never Before’.

I don’t think there’s much more I need to say – Their photos tell you the story of their love for each other.

Chris & Siobhan – It was an honour, Thank you!

Siobhan's details were equisite...

I think these would have to be my favourite shots...

Andrew & Emma {WEDDING}
15th November 2008

Andrew & Emma chose the beautiful & equisite Sacred Heart Cathedral for their wedding on Saturday. Andrew & Emma are from Melbourne, but loved the Cathedral so much, they chose to invite their closest family & friends to join them in Bendigo for the celebration of their wedding.

It was an incredible day. The weather was beautiful which added to the excitement and joy of their day. Andrew & Emma designed and created alot of the details for their wedding themselves. From Andrew picking and cutting the stone for Emma’s engagement ring, to Emma making the beautiful cake, and them both creating all the place settings & table decorations.

Andrew & Emma – Carsten and I had a fantastic day and were greatful to share it with you – Thank You!

Adam & Tamara {ANNIVERSARY}
11th November 2008

I first met Adam & Tamara when we arranged a time to discuss a photoshoot they had been planning for their Wedding Anniversary.  After meeting them and chatting about different ideas, the location they wanted to use etc, it certainly inspired me and made me realise how important and precious it is to continually create lasting memories at certain stages in our lives.  And it's not til we create those photographs that we can look back and see how much each other has changed, how much more in love a couple is, and how our lives have taken a different journey!

Today (Tuesday) is Adam & Tamara's 2 year Wedding Anniversary.  And on Sunday I met with them at the beautiful Hunter House, to capture them almost to year to the day after their wedding.  I had such a great time with these guys!

Adam & Tamara - Happy Anniversary! I hope that you guys both have a fantastic day! You truly have inspired me to have someone capture my family! Thank You!

We made the most of the beautiful surroundings at Hunter House:

Emme {BABY}
9th November 2008

Emme: Adorable, Cute, Gorgeous, Cheeky... And I’m pretty sure the list could go on.

On Sunday afternoon I got to meet little Emme, along with her parents – Ben & Roberta. It was so great to have a change of pace from weddings, and capture such an adorable family! And little Emme didn’t disappoint! Shy to begin with, but when those smiles came out, she was just a dream to photograph!

Ben & Roberta – Thank You for the pleasure of capturing your family. I thoroughly enjoyed doing so. I can’t tell you how hard it was just to pick a few - there are so many! Enjoy!

This is how it started out... Just not too sure of the surroundings... But cute none the less!

Then things got a little better...

I love the expression on Emme's face!

My favourite shot of the day...

Winston & Brooke {WEDDING}
8th November 2008

Weddings are definitely a time of celebrations, fun & laughter. Winston & Brooke were married on Saturday and their wedding was no exception! There was plenty of fun & laughter the whole day, as the celebrated with their ceremony at the Neale Street Uniting Church, followed by their reception at the beautiful Town Hall.
Thankfully, the rain held off and the sun came out just in time to be able to capture most of their photos outside, around town.

Here are just a few favourites.

Zara {NEWBORN}
3rd November 2008

Every time a little baby arrives in this world, and I have the pleasure of capturing their first days, I am just amazed at the miracle of life!

I had seen baby Zara grow in her Mummy’s tummy and captured Narelle's beautiful belly bump. But this week I was able to meet Zara for the first time. And she is just adorable!

Tim & Narelle – you have one beautiful and amazing miracle. You are both amazing parents, and I can’t wait to see Zara grow over the coming months and years!

Trent & Katie {WEDDING}
1st November 2008

The weather was just right... The sun rose high in the sky with no clouds to be seen, as the wind blew a gentle breeze to keep the sun from becoming too hot... The Bendigo Pottery was the perfect backdrop for Trent & Katie's wedding on Saturday - rustic sheds... long grass... old bridges... what more could you ask for!

Trent & Katie - Thank you for the honor of capturing your wedding day.  You guys were truly a pleasure to work with.  Enjoy looking through a few favourites from the day!
