Adi & Heidi {WEDDING}
29th December 2008

For the first time in years, (I can’t even remember how many), my family all gathered together in Sydney for Christmas. It was so great to see all the cousins, aunties, uncles, new babies, new families etc. You don’t realise how much you miss everyone until you all meet together and reminisce about old times when we were all just kids.

Another special occasion that we all came together for was the wedding of my beautiful cousin Heidi to her fiancé Adi. For me, even though on holidays, I did do a little work and photographed their wedding. And it was magical!!
Heidi and Adi were married right on the beach, which made for some spectacular photo opportunities! And I LOVED every minute of it!
Heidi – You are truly amazing! To have been there growing up with you as kids has truly been a blessing. All the fun times and sad times we had together as kids, I wouldn’t pass up for anything!
But to see you now, all grown up (and still a little crazy!!) is amazing! I have loved becoming closer to you over the past few years and to hear about all the life’s journeys you have been on. You truly inspire me kiddo!!
Adi – Well what can I say... I have to say nice things about you on the blog, so well... Ummm.. KIDDING!!.. You are truly the BEST guy Heidi could have ever asked for! It’s been so amazing getting to know you and to see how well you just fit with Heidi! Thank You for being the right person for her!

Heidi & Adi: I LOVE you guys forever!!! I pray that your journey as a new married couple takes you to places you never dreamed of! Thank You so much for the utmost honour of capturing your beautiful day.. It was such a blessing for me! Love you!

Brady & Elisa {WEDDING}
13th December 2008

They met and became friends...

He liked her... She liked him back...

He liked her even more... She liked him lots...

He kissed her... She kissed him back...

They fell in love...

He asked her to marry him... She said YES!

They lived happily ever after...

My good friends Brady & Elisa married yesterday, and I had the pleasure of being able to document and capture their amazing and beautiful day.  It was a great way to end the wedding season for 2008.

Brady & Elisa - Thank You so much for the pleausre! May God bless your lives abundantly as you start your journey in life together! Much love - Carsten & Mel.

Now the weather was just a little unpredictable yesterday... It rained... It stopped raining... It rained... It stopped raining... So the girls thought it would be great to get out the umberallas to sheild them from the rain. However... it proved that umberallas can be just as unpredictable as the weather! Especially when the wind is involved!

Max {NEWBORN}
5th December 2008

Max Milan Claridge came into this world just 9 days ago. And today, I had the utmost priviledge of capturing him as a newborn.

Now they say that newborns are supposed to sleep pretty much ALL the time... But you see, Max is just not your average newborn... He didn't want to sleep ALL the time like other newborns... He didn't want to sleep at All!  He was too busy wanting to know what was going on around him... I mean who wouldn't want to know what your big sister is doing!!

Even though Max was wide awake for most of the session, you will see by these photos that he is just so handsome and was quite content in just looking around!

Nathan & Kirsty - Congratulations on your amazing little miracle! Thank You for allowing me to capture his first few days in this world.
